How long have you been vlogging? 2.5-3 years
What inspired you to start your vlog? I saw other girls make beauty videos and it looked like a lot of fun. It was a way for me to share my love of makeup and get back into my lost passion for editing. I have also been super passionate about creating my own job/opportunities so I saw youtube as a way to do that.
Any words of wisdom for someone considering starting a vlog? If you aren’t in the lucky 1% then it’s going to take years to build up a youtube channel. Keep persevering and remember that the biggest youtubers started out with 0 subscribers. I suggest watching old videos of your favorite youtubers to inspire you.
How long have you been using Magic Links? Around a year I believe.
What is your favorite thing about MagicLinks? The fact that it can provide an extra easy revenue stream.
What feature do you find the most useful in Magic Links? The process to get links for products is easy.
What advice would you give other Magic Links users to get the most out of the program? Include some links that you can have in every video, such as your camera equipment or makeup of the day.
Favorite quote or mantra that you live by? If somebody else can do it then why can’t I? Hard work beats talent when it comes to success. Do the work and the rewards will come.
If you could travel anywhere tomorrow where would you go? Los Angeles because that’s where the youtube people are! I really want to meet and collaborate with more youtubers.
Favorite Magic Links Retailer? Perhaps Walmart or Target because they carry the most stuff.
What is one of the best comments you have received on one of your videos? I really like to make people laugh so whenever I get a “you’re funny” comment it makes me happy.
Where is your favorite place to shop? I actually rarely buy clothes and makeup because I already have a lot from over the years, but I do love forever 21 and sephora.
What’s the best deal you’ve scored in the past month? I recently tried passion fruit and it’s the best thing I’ve ever tried. The grocery store had them on sale for $1.50 instead of $2.00. Haha the small fruit is so expensive but everyone should give it a go!
