How long have you been vlogging? A little over two years now!
What inspired you to start your vlog? I have always loved makeup and fashion and after moving many times due to my husbands job I had a hard time finding like-minded women to share all of my obsessions with! I have always loved YouTube and wanted a place of my own to share my favorite products, tutorials, and healthy lifestyle advice. It is also a great way to keep in touch with my friends and family who live far away!
Any words of wisdom for someone considering starting a vlog? I would say just go for it! I wish that I would have had the confidence to start when I first thought about it about four years ago. I would say believe in yourself, and no matter where you are in your life there are others who can learn from you and help you grow into the successful person you want to be.
How long have you been using Magic Links? A little over 6 months.
What is your favorite thing about MagicLinks? My favorite part about using MagicLinks is having the ability to easily share products I love with my viewers from may different retailers.
What feature do you find the most useful in Magic Links? I honestly find the entire concept and website to be very user friendly. I love that you can easily tell if a retailer is partnered with Magic Links with the adorable little heart icon!
What advice would you give other Magic Links users to get the most out of the program? Even though I am still learning and have a ton of room to improve and grow my channel, I would recommend linking as much as you can because you never know what your viewers are going to want to check out or purchase. It can be as small as a nail polish or lipliner, but if you are taking the time to talk about it or wear it, chances are that others will want to as well!
Have any Pets? We love pets here at MagicLinks! We actually have two pets a dog named Bentley who is the absolute sweetest and best friends with my daughter as well as a white cat named Kitty. Yes, Kitty my three year old named him!
Favorite quote or mantra that you live by? A few unconventional sayings I love are “Dreams don’t work unless you do” and “why look drab when you can be fab”! My sister Kelsey says these all the time and they are so true! You have to follow what makes you happy and with a little effort you can make your dreams a reality!
If you could travel anywhere tomorrow where would you go? There are so many different places I would love to see. My husband and I love traveling, and I would have to say that Spain is at the top of my list. I would love to explore the beaches and experience the culture.
Favorite Magic Links Retailer? Hands down Nordstrom! I used to work there and still love shopping there.
What is one of the best comments you have received on one of your videos? I really get a lot of amazing women who watch my videos from young girls to amazing moms which I absolutely love! Some of the most inspiring comments and emails I have received are on my weight loss video where I shared how I lost 100lbs. Knowing that helped to inspire others make a positive change in their life is very rewarding.
Where is your favorite place to shop? I love shopping at Nordstrom and Amazon.
