What does authentic communication with your subscribers mean to you? It’s everything, it’s the beauty of youtube, it’s what sets it apart from anything else. I have learned so much from others on youtube that I could never get anywhere else. It’s something we should all pride ourselves on with our channels. The friendships that are formed with subscribers from all over the world is truly amazing and it’s all about having a place for people to come and know it’s a safe, honest, and non judgemental place. I pride myself on it.
Have you ever struggled to stay authentic on a particular topic, or with a particular promotional or vlogging partner? Absolutely not. It’s actually quite simple for me in fact. If I am honest 100% of the time, I can’t go wrong! It’s really that simple! Sometimes I do have to put a little more thought into HOW I say something to do my best in not offending someone if the topic is a bit more touchy. But really, I have amazing subscribers and they have really gotten to know my personality and intentions! 🙂
How and why did you decide to start your channel? I have had my channel for just over a year now! Yay! Over 300 Videos too! I am so glad I took the plunge and started! It’s something I wanted to do for years but wanted to wait til I had the time to put into it! I haven’t looked back since! I really wanted to help people. That’s my passion. I have a degree in psychology and I wanted to be untraditional in how I could help others! That’s when I realized YouTube was my answer!
What is the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as you’ve grown your audience? Just getting discovered. It’s an extremely competitive place. Especially when dealing with Beauty/Makeup. But never look back. That’s the best advice I could give and even remind myself of! Some videos are going to be hits and others will be misses but just keep going!
What inspires you? People who are authentic and truly just want to help someone else. Simple as that! 🙂
What are your favorite topics to vlog about? I love all things Beauty related, Vegan Living, Food, & Lifestyle!! I love incorporating all of it on my channel!
What causes do you care most about, and how are you involved in them? Veganism! I think we are learning more and more about how this is absolutely a way we can live and be our healthiest selves while saving millions of animals and our enviornment! Living with compassion in all ways is a beautiful thing. I LOVE sharing my journey of being vegan and inspiring others to do it too through recipes, meal idea, and more!
Do you have any pets? We love pets at MagicLinks! YES!!!! I have a MINI PIG!! yes, a mini pig!! He is a huge hit on my channel!!! I also have 2 dogs and 3 cats! Like I said, I love animals!! 🙂
What is your favorite MagicLinks feature? I just love the simplicity of it!! It is so easy and convenient to create a link on virtually any product!!
What are your favorite topics to vlog about? Makeup, Food and Veganism!
What is one of the best comments you’ve ever received on one of your videos? Inspiring someone to change their way of living or thinking. It’s incredible to hear that. You really feel like you’ve done something great. It’s not that I am looking to CHANGE someone, I just love when people think outside of their own self and their own set beliefs they have always had! I love even doing that myself to this day! We are ever learning and evolving!
