How long have you been using MagicLinks? 2 years. Wow time flies!
What does authentic communication with your subscribers mean to you? It means the world to me! I get to turn on my camera and just talk to my subscribers as if they are my best friends. If I didn’t have that connection, I wouldn’t be making videos.
Have you ever struggled to stay authentic on a particular topic, or with a particular promotional or vlogging partner? My channel has always been focused on makeup. It can be challenging to stand out when there are so many channels talking about the same thing, but then the right people find you and they connect with you. That makes it easy to be myself and remain authentic.
How and why did you decide to start your channel? I originally created my channel to watch beauty videos. I fell in love with makeup and beauty and knew I had to start making my own videos!
What is the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as you’ve grown your audience? Balancing motherhood and YouTube. With 2 kids and one on the way, making time to create content can be a challenge.
What inspires you? Connecting with real people who share the same passions I do. I’m so blessed to have this platform to do that.
What are your favorite topics to vlog about? Affordable Beauty! You don’t have to break the bank to look and feel glamorous!
What causes do you care most about, and how are you involved in them? Currently I’m part of a small group that volunteers at the local food bank. As a recipient of those services when I was growing up, I find it so important to give back.
Do you have any pets? We love pets at MagicLinks! Yes I do! I have a mini schnoodle named Jenna. My little fluff ball.
What is your favorite MagicLinks feature? The “find products” feature. Makes it so easy to find what I’m looking for!
What is one of the best comments you’ve ever received on one of your videos? It makes my heart happy when I see comments that say watching my videos is like hanging out with a friend. I love that because it makes me feel like I’m connecting with my viewers.
What is your favorite place to shop? Amazon! They have everything.
Is there anything you’d like to share with others in the community about your experience with MagicLinks? MagicLinks has been supportive and helpful to me since the beginning. It’s a great community to be a part of!
