How long have you been using MagicLinks? I am new to MagicLinks and have only used it about a month!
What does authentic communication with your subscribers mean to you? Authentic communication means actively taking the time to reply to all that have left you comments. I try to pick a day through the week to go through my comments and reply. It may take sometime but I do thank each person for taking the time to watch my videos. I try to be active and involved with all my followers!
Have you ever struggled to stay authentic on a particular topic, or with a particular promotional or vlogging partner? I have not had an issue with staying authentic on a particular topic. I’m always open and honest in my videos! When I have created promotional content for brands I have let my followers know that the products were sent to me for review but my opinion is always 100%. I always remain true to myself and my followers so that they can trust my opinion and advice on whatever the particular item or topic is!
How and why did you decide to start your channel? I decided to start my channel in May of 2015. I wanted an outlet to share my journey as I was finishing up nursing school. I also wanted to share my love for beauty, fashion and traveling with others. I’ve always watched YouTube videos and decided that I also wanted to become a content creator. One of the best decisions ever!
What is the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as you’ve grown your audience? One of the most difficult challenges is being consist in my uploads. At the time when I started my channel I was juggling nursing school and now that I’m working full time as an RN I have to keep my self consistent in my uploads and keeping my content fresh, and relevant!
What inspires you? My inspiration come from others who have gone before me and paved the way. I love to look up to others in the nursing community as well as the beauty community that are making huge differences in peoples lives. My goal everyday is to be able to spread the love of Christ to all I encounter in an effort to further inspire others.
What are your favorite topics to vlog about? Nursing topics, beauty tutorials, product recommendations, and recent travels!
What causes do you care most about, and how are you involved in them? I am passionate about animals and I give to the ASPCA, I also have a rescued Shih Tzu named Riley! I’m also passionate about nursing and I am involved in AACN (American Association of Critical Care Nurses).
Do you have any pets? We love pets at MagicLinks! I have a Shih Tzu named Riley! He’s 6 years old!
What is your favorite MagicLinks feature? Being able to link products that I feature in my videos and give my followers a chance to shop the products I recommend while being able to earn an income from my followers when they shop!
What is one of the best comments you’ve ever received on one of your videos? One of the best comments I received was from someone who told me that I inspire them, and they look forward to my videos!
What is your favorite place to shop? It’s hard to say! I love to shop online and get packages in the mail! My top places online are Macy’s, H&M, and Amazon! I also shop online through Ebates so I can get a percentage of my money back, so it’s a win win!!
